Ezio's ACII hidden blades

Back in late 2009, right after ACII came out, I became a bit obsessed with Ezio (Altair was old news by then!).

I had everything figured out, except from the hidden blades. I knew how to sew, how to shape craft foam, and I had all the details and materials I needed except from the thing that made the game! After some research, I discovered I could use collapsible Tai Chi swords, with some modifications. 

The so-called Tai Chi sword, minus the hilt! Because I don't have reference pictures!

First I removed the hilt of the sword, and then used the fourth part as the cover of the blade. All three parts would collapse into the fourth, when the blade is hidden in my sleeve. I attached some D rings on the fourth part and I added straps to tie the blade onto my forearm. 

The video below is most of my tests, before and after adding the straps. First I tried it with excess fabric and then, as the costume progressed, the blades were tested.
